Wayward Distillery

Wayward Distillery is the first Canadian distillery to produce spirits using 100% BC honey. By using this sustainable resource as their base, Wayward contribute to a healthy and diverse ecosystem. Try sipping their spirits on their own and mix them into your favourite cocktail.

A net positive food producer, Wayward sources honey from a 1,700 hive apiary in the Peace region. This helps ensure that more food, grown by BC farmers, is being pollinated by BC bees.

Swing by the tasting room and stock up on libations to make your weekend a little more “Unruly”.

You can enjoy a tasting experience, buy packaged product for take away, check out the demonstration hive. Wayward products are on the menu at restaurants around the Comox Valley.

Tasting Experience

Wayward offers drop in tasting experiences of their award winning spirits: Unruly Gin and Vodka, Krupnik Spiced Honey Liqueur, Drunken Hive Rum and Depth Charge Espresso and Cacao Bean Vodka Infusion.

They have two demonstration beehives at Wayward, lovingly cared for by local beekeeper Rachel, so that they can help educate our guests and community about the value and need for healthy honeybee populations.

Reservations for tastings are recommended for larger groups.
