Located at the end of the west arm of Shawnigan Lake, The Lakehouse at Shawnigan offers expansive water views, a large dock and three lovely patios.
Proprietor Jill Tulloch welcomes guests to a dining experience like no other. The culinary team has created a menu that will delight everyone. Farm to table is not just a nice concept here, it is a way of life.
The Lakehouse rigorously supports local distilleries, cideries, breweries, wineries, and of course farms. The menus change a little each day, but seasonality is the main theme.

The bright flavours and acidity of the Pnot Gris elevate the earthy flavours of this dish. It’s been treated similarly to a chardonnay, giving it more body and complexity that add to this beautiful Steel head dish. Perfect for a fall day, rainy or sunny, cozy or chilly.
We’ve chosen the Averill Creek Pinot Gris because the team at Averill does a fantastic job with their wine making techniques to allow the juice to speak for itself. Simplistic, beautiful and complex. We find ourselves coming back for more after each sip.
